Vomitras Syrup માટે નિષ્ણાતની સલાહ
- તમારા ખોરાક લેવાની 30 મિનિટ પહેલાં Ondansetron લેવી.
- Ondansetron લીધા પછીની 30 મિનિટમાં જો તમને ઊલટી થાય, તો ફરીથી તેટલી માત્રામાં લો. જો ઊલટી ચાલુ રહે તો તમારા ડોકટર પાસે તપાસ કરાવો.
- ટૂંકા સમયગાળા માટે ઉદાહરણ તરીકે 6 થી 10 દિવસ માટે જો Ondansetron નો ઉપયોગ કરાય, તો આડઅસરનું જોખમ ઓછું રહે છે (સહ્ય બની શકે છે).
- જો તમને ટીકડી કે કેપ્સ્યુલ ગળતા ઉબકાં આવતા હોય તો Ondansetron ને મોંથી લેવાની ડિસઈન્ટિગ્રેટિંગ ફિલ્મ/ સ્ટ્રીપ (દવાયુક્ત સ્ટ્રીપ જે ભીની સપાટીના સંપર્કમાં આવતા ઓગળી જાય છે) સ્વરૂપની તમે ઉપયોગ કરી શકો.

Q. What is Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup used for?
Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup is generally given before any major surgery or before chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions. In case your child is about to undergo any of the above procedures, the doctor may ask you to give Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup to your child to prevent vomiting post-procedure. Apart from this, Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup is also found useful in treating vomiting caused due to diseases of the stomach. In such a case, your child’s doctor may prescribe giving Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup to your child for a few days. Stick to the dose for best results.
Q. What if my child takes too much Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup?
Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup is unlikely to cause harm if you give an extra dose by mistake. However, you must still speak to your child’s doctor immediately. Sometimes, excessive intake of Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup can cause some serious side effects like excess sleepiness, agitation, rapid heartbeat, hypertension, flushing, dilated pupils, sweating, involuntary muscle jerk, uncontrolled eye movements, overactive reflexes, and seizures. These symptoms are collectively known as serotonin syndrome. If any of these appear, consult the doctor without any delay.

Vomitras 2mg/5ml Syrup should be stored at room temperature, in a dry place, away from direct heat and light. Also, keep all the medicines out of the reach and sight of children to avoid any accidental intake.
