Mepresso-i 1 Injection એ સોજા અને લાલાશને ઘટાડીને તથા રોગપ્રતિરક્ષા તંત્ર જે રીતે કાર્ય કરે છે તેને બદલીને સારવાર કરવા માટે કાર્ય કરે છે. Mepresso-i 1 Injection એ સામાન્યરીતે શરીર દ્વારા કુદરતી રીતે બનતા સ્ટીરોઈડને બદલીને કોર્ટિકોસ્ટીરોઈડના ઓછા સ્તરવાળા દર્દીઓની સારવાર કરવામાં કાર્ય કરે છે.
મિથાઇલ પ્રેડિનિસોલોન કોર્ટિકોસ્ટિરોઈડ નામની દવાઓના સમુહ સાથે સંબંધ ધરાવે છે. આ કોર્ટિકોસ્ટેરોઈડના સ્તરોને વધારે છે જે શરીરમાં પ્રાકૃતિકરૂપથી હાજર છે અને આમ આ સોજાને નિયંત્રિત કરે છે. આ શરીર પર સોજાવિરોધી ચયાપચયી, પ્રતિરક્ષી અને હોર્મોનલ પ્રભાવ પાડે છે.
