Zinc pyrithione is an anti-fungal medicine. It makes fungal cell to absorb copper which in turn inactivates protein mechanism in cells. This is how it stops fungal growth.

    • Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, wash eyes liberally with water.
    • Leave the shampoo on for three to five minutes before rinsing.
    • Do not bandage, cover or wrap the treated scalp area unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
    • Stop using Zinc pyrithione and inform your doctor if you notice any irritation or any other skin infection.
