Ulinastatin is used in the treatment of pancreatitis and severe sepsis.

How ulinastatin works

Ulinastatin blocks the chemicals (digestive enzymes) which helps in digestion and also reduces the chemicals involved in inflammation of the pancreas.

Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness), Allergy, Elevated serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, Elevated serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase
