Tulobuterol Topical is used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma.

How tulobuterol topical works

Tulobuterol belongs to the class of medications called as bronchodilators. It works by enlarging the bronchial tubes to relieve breathing difficulty thereby relieving the symptoms associated with asthma and COPD.

Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Headache, Palpitations, Skin irritation, Restlessness, Muscle cramp, Tremors

    Expert advice for Tulobuterol Topical

    • Apply tulobuterol transdermal patch once daily on chest, back or upper arm as per the specified dosage regimen and use new site for repeating patch application to avoid skin irritation.
    • Apply the patch in the evening or at bedtime.
    • Seek medical attention if you experience sudden difficulty in breathing (dyspnea), flushing, swelling of the lips and face (angioedema) and skin rashes (urticaria).
    • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
    • Do not use if you are allergic to tulobuterol or any of its ingredients.
    • Do not use if you have tumor of the adrenal glands (pheochromocytoma).
    • Do not use if Infants less than 6 months of age.
