How trithioparamethoxy phenylpropene works

Trithioparamethoxy phenylpropene belongs to the class of medications called as hepatoprotective agents. It provides protection to liver from hepatotoxic agents such as fatty acids, alcohol etc. and reduces the cholesterol in the blood thereby causing the smooth flow of blood.

    • Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if diarrhea persists or if you find blood in your stools.
    • Do not take antacids that contain aluminum while you are taking Trithioparamethoxy Phenylpropene as this decreases the amount of Trithioparamethoxy Phenylpropene absorbed by your body.
    • Consult with your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
