Timolol + travoprost uses

Timolol+Travoprost is used in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

How timolol + travoprost works

This is a combination of two medicines: Timolol and Travoprost. Timolol is a beta blocker while Travoprost is a prostaglandin analogue. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

Eye pain, Foreign body sensation, Ocular hyperemia, Eye irritation, Eye discomfort, Increased iris pigmentation, Eyelid inflammation, Dry eye, Headache, Corneal inflammation, Eye itching, Inflammation of the nose, Cystoid macular edema, Chest pain, Dizziness, Dryness in mouth, Breathlessness, Hypertonia (increased muscle tone), Keratoconjunctivitis, Eyelash changes
