How thyroliberin works

Thyroliberin belongs to the class of medications called as tripeptide hormones. It releases the chemical thyrotropin which causes release of thyroid stimulating hormone.

    • You will be monitored for blood pressure before starting thyroliberin and at frequent intervals during the first 15 minutes after administration.
    • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
    • Do not take if allergic to thyroliberin or any of its ingredients.
