Tepotinib uses

Tepotinib is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.

How tepotinib works

Tepotinib works by blocking the action of certain abnormal proteins that signal cancer cells to multiply. This helps slow or stop the spread of cancer cells.

Peripheral edema, Nausea, Low albumin level in blood, Diarrhea, Increased creatinine level in blood

Expert advice for Tepotinib

  • Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during the treatment and for at least 1 week after the last dose of Tepotinib.
  • To reduce nausea, take anti-nausea medications as prescribed by your doctor and eat small, frequent meals.
  • Swelling of the hands or feet is a common side effect of Tepotinib. Your doctor may suggest leg elevation or dietary salt modification to ease the symptoms of swelling.
  • Drink at least 7-8 large glasses of water every 24 hours, unless you are instructed otherwise.
