Sulphur uses

Sulphur is used in the treatment of scabies.

How sulphur works

Sulfur has germicidal, fungicidal, parasiticidal, and keratolytic actions. Its germicidal activity may be the result of its conversion to pentathionic acid by epidermal cells or by certain microorganisms.

Common side effects of sulphur

Erythematous rash, Itching, Dry skin, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation)
