Revaprazan uses

Revaprazan is used in the treatment of peptic ulcer disease. It may also help in relieving mucosal lesion associated with gastritis.

How revaprazan works

Revaprazan is a potassium-competitive acid inhibitor. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Headache, Diarrhea, Runny nose

    Expert advice for Revaprazan

    • Take the medication 30 minutes or an hour before meal. 
    • You will be regularly monitored with tests for blood clotting parameters such as prothrombin time. 
    • Seek immediate medical attention if irritation in the stomach and intestine persists or increases.
    • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
    • Should not be given to patients who are allergic to revaprazan or any of its ingredients.
    • Should not be given to patients having bleeding disorder.
