How pregabalin + methylcobalamin + folic acid + vitamin b6 (pyridoxine) + alpha lipoic acid works

This is a combination of five medicines: Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin, Folic Acid, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Methylcobalamin, Folic Acid and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) are forms of vitamin B which help in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Alpha Lipoic Acid provides essential nutrients. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
