How phenformin works

Phenformin is an anti-diabetic medication (biguanide). It works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Nausea, Taste change, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Diarrhea, Bloating, Loss of appetite
