Metronidazole+Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) is used in the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.

How metronidazole + clioquinol (iodochlorhydroxyquin) works

This is a combination of two medicines: Metronidazole and Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin), which treat stomach and intestine infections. Metronidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and certain other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) is also an antibiotic with additional antifungal action. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of both bacteria and fungi.
