Ketoconazole+Ichthyol Pale+Aloe Vera+D-Panthenol is used in the treatment of dandruff.

How ketoconazole + ichthyol pale + aloe vera + d-panthenol works

This is a combination of four medicines: Ketoconazole, Ichthyol Pale, Aloe Vera and D-Panthenol which treat dandruff. Ketoconazole and Ichthyol Pale work by killing the microorganisms that cause dandruff. Ichthyol Pale additionally relieves itching and exerts a soothing effect on scalp. Aloe Vera is a plant. It forms a protective layer on the scalp by restoring moisture, leaving it hydrated and refreshed. D-Panthenol is a form of vitamin B which further lubricates the hair shaft giving it a shiny appearance.

    • Ketoconazole + Ichthyol Pale + Aloe Vera + D-Panthenol must be applied to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor.
    • Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
    • Before each application, wash the affected area with soap and water and dry well.
    • Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
    • Stop using Ketoconazole + Ichthyol Pale + Aloe Vera + D-Panthenol and inform your doctor if you notice any irritation or any other skin infection.
    • Inform your doctor if the treated skin area does not improve after 2-4 weeks of treatment.
