How ketoconazole + aloe vera + d-panthenol works
This is a combination of three medicines: Ketoconazole, Aloe Vera and D-Panthenol which treat dandruff. Ketoconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Aloe Vera is a plant. Its extracts form a protective layer on the scalp by restoring moisture, leaving it hydrated and refreshed. D-Panthenol is a form of vitamin B which further lubricates the hair shaft giving it a shiny appearance.
