This is a combination of two medicines: Ivabradine and Metoprolol Succinate. They work by reducing the heart rate and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

  • You have been prescribed Ivabradine + Metoprolol Succinate for the treatment of angina (chest pain).
  • It must be taken with food.
  • Ivabradine + Metoprolol Succinate may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
  • You may experience temporary changes in your vision such as enhanced visual brightness. These may occur within the initial 2 months of treatment and should gradually go away.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms of low heart rate such as dizziness, tiredness, and low energy.
