This is a combination of three medicines. Guaifenesinworks by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant. It works by narrowing the small blood vessels which provides temporary relief from inflammation (redness and swelling) and discomfort. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is an antitussive (cough suppressants). It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. This how This works to treat your cough.
