How gabapentin + methylcobalamin + alpha lipoic acid + vitamin b6 (pyridoxine) works

This is a combination of four medicines. Gabapentin is an antiepileptic medication. It acts on the voltage‐dependent calcium ion channels of the nerve cells. As a result, it may help to prevent a series of events that may trigger nerve pain. Methylcobalamin and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) are vitamins and they restore the level of vitamins in the body thereby helping in strengthening the nervous system. Alpha Lipoic Acid acts as a potent antioxidant (a substance that protects against cell damage) by neutralizing the free radicals (waste products formed in the body during energy production) such as reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. Further, it initiates natural antioxidant processes in the body. It also maintains the levels of Vitamin E and Vitamin C in the body. This is how it works to treat neuropathic pain (pain in the nerves).
