Drotaverine+Diclofenac is used in the treatment of abdominal pain.

How drotaverine + diclofenac works

This is a combination of two medicines: Drotaverine and Diclofenac, which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling).

Common side effects of drotaverine + diclofenac

Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Dryness in mouth, Dizziness, Vertigo, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Hypotension (low blood pressure), Tachycardia, Sweating, Constipation, Dyspepsia, Abdominal pain, Increased liver enzymes, Flatulence, Gastritis, Mouth ulcer, Rash, Itching, Dermatitis, Urticaria, Increased blood urea, Increased creatinine level in blood, Headache, Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats), Allergic dermatitis, Bronchospasm, Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Visual disturbance, Cardiac failure, High blood pressure, Gastrointestinal bleeding, Gastrointestinal ulcer, Angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin)
