This is a combination of two medicines: Docusate and Calcium Dobesilate. Docusate is a lubricant laxative which helps retain water and fat in the stools, making them soft, slippery and easier to pass. Calcium Dobesilate is a vasoprotective medicine which works on the walls of the small blood vessels and reduces their leakage and fragility. It also improves blood flow by decreasing viscosity/thickness of blood, thereby relieving inflammation (redness and swelling) in piles/ hemorrhoids and promoting healing.
