How dicyclomine + mefenamic acid + simethicone works

This is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid and Simethicone. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps and pain. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) which. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Abdominal pain, Constipation, Dyspepsia, Headache, Drowsiness, Itching, Ringing in ear, Breathlessness, Fever, Congestive cardiac failure, High blood pressure, Anxiety, Confusion, Asthma, Anaphylactic reaction, Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats), Pancreatic inflammation, Hemolytic anemia, Convulsion, Coma, Angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin), Stevens-Johnson syndrome
