How diclofenac topical + benzocaine (topical) works

This is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac Topical and Benzocaine (topical). Diclofenac Topical is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by suppressing the production of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and pain. Benzocaine (topical) is a local anesthetic which blocks pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing the sensation of pain.
