Clindamycin+Tretinoin is used in the treatment of acne.

How clindamycin + tretinoin works

This is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Tretinoin, which treats pimples (acne). Clindamycin is an antibiotic which works by penetrating into the skin and killing acne-causing bacteria. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A which reduces oil production in the skin, replenishes the skin and helps keep your pores open.

Clindamycin+Tretinoin works by replacing damaged skin cells with newer ones, thus rejuvenating the skin. However, it may take upto three to six months to achieve noticeable results. In some cases, it might take longer, depending upon the color of the post acne inflammatory pigmentation being treated, in relation to the normal surrounding skin.

Wash your face gently with mild soap and warm water and pat your skin dry with a towel. Just use a pea sized amount of Clindamycin+Tretinoin for applying over the entire face. Do not use more than the required dose as it may cause undesired side effects. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
