How chromium picolinate + metformin + voglibose works

This is a combination of three medicines: Chromium picolinate, metformin and voglibose. Chromium is a nutritional supplement which increases insulin sensitivity by protecting the integrity of insulin receptors and allowing effective binding of insulin. It is combined with picolinate as it helps the body absorb chromium. Metformin lowers the production and absorption of sugar in your body, and allows better use of existing insulin. Voglibose works by slowing down the breakdown of complex sugars into simpler sugars. This reduces post-meal rise in blood sugar. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar.
