How choline salicylate + lidocaine topical works
This is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Lidocaine Topical which treat mouth sores. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the mouth. Lidocaine Topical is a local anesthetic which forms a protective coating over the mouth sores and blocks pain signals to further relieve pain.
