    • Beta Carotene helps treat vision impairment in patients with Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON).
    • It should be taken with food and at the same time everyday.
    • It may make your urine become reddish brown. This change in colour is harmless. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
    • Your doctor may regularly monitor your eyesight, blood counts and liver function while you are on treatment with this medicine. 
    • Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney disease or if you notice flu or cold symptoms.
