Benzoxonium Chloride+Lidocaine is used in the treatment of mouth infection, mouth ulcers and inflammation of gums. It is used for a duration not longer than two weeks.
How benzoxonium chloride + lidocaine works
This is a combination of two medicines: Benzoxonium Chloride and Lidocaine. Benzoxonium Chloride is an antiseptic. It suppresses the growth of harmful microorganisms in the mouth and thus helps in preventing infection. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which temporarily numbs the affected areas in the mouth and decreases pain sensation.
