    • Allantoin should be applied as suggested by the doctor. 
    • If used for dry hands, apply it every time you wash the hand.
    • Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
    • Do not apply it to broken or infected areas of skin, face, eyes or eyelids unless instructed to by your doctor. 
    • Avoid exposing your skin to strong sunlight, use a sunscreen lotion or make sure your skin is protected with clothing.
