  • Your doctor has prescribed Fluconazole to treat fungal infections of the eye.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
  • Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
  • Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
  • Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. 
  • If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
  • Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.

Pain and soreness may take a little longer to resolve, and in some cases it can even take up to 7 days. No, you should not stop using ZOCon Eye Drop suddenly without talking to your doctor. This is because your symptoms may worsen and your infection may return. Stopping the medication too early could allow the fungus to continue to grow and hence, prevent complete healing.
