Thioplan powder for injection uses

{med_name} is used in the treatment of brain tumor, breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and ovarian cancer. It is used in combination with other cancer medicine during hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation (HPCT).

How thioplan powder for injection works

Thioplan Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells. This stops their growth and multiplication.

Common side effects of thioplan powder for injection

Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Low blood platelets, Increased liver enzymes, Increased bilirubin in the blood, Mucosal inflammation, Hemorrhage, Rash, Diarrhea, Blood in urine
