  • Few tips for good foot care: 
    • Wash your feet properly with lukewarm water and apply moisturizer to prevent cracking. 
    • Wear comfortable shoes and avoid shoes with high heels and pointed toe. 
    • look for cuts, sores, burns, and redness while examining your feet. 
    • Avoid the use of heat pads on the feet.
    • Make sure to not put pressure on the affected foot while standing or walking.
    • Dress the ulcer area properly to keep it clean and warm. 
    • Put your feet up and avoid crossed legs while sitting.
