Q. What is Sarcoper 5% Lotion used for?
Sarcoper 5% Lotion is used for the treatment of scabies, a contagious skin condition caused by mites that burrow into the skin and cause intense itching and rash.
Q. How should Sarcoper 5% Lotion be applied?
Apply Sarcoper 5% Lotion to clean, dry, and cool skin and gently rub it in. For most adults and children over 2 years, it should be applied over the entire body except the head and face. Leave the medicine on for 8–12 hours, after which the whole body should be washed thoroughly.

Q. Why does itching continue even after treatment?
Itching may continue for up to 4 weeks after treatment, even when the scabies mites are dead. This is a common allergic reaction to dead mites under the skin and does not necessarily mean treatment failure.
Q. Are there any special precautions while using Sarcoper 5% Lotion?
Sarcoper 5% Lotion is for external use only and should not be applied to broken skin, eyes, or mucous membranes. Contact with eyes should be avoided, and if accidental contact occurs, the eyes should be rinsed immediately with water.
Q. Can I use other skin treatments at the same time?
Use of topical corticosteroids should generally be withheld before treatment, as they may reduce the body’s response to the mites. Your doctor will advise if any additional treatment is needed.
