Tell your doctor right away if you feel faint, lightheaded or if your heart starts beating irregularly or fast, as these may be symptoms of QT prolongation. Revulant 1000mg Tablet may also cause kidney failure in patients who already have kidney problems. Therefore, your doctor may need to do tests to check how your kidneys are working.
Q. I started taking Revulant 1000mg Tablet about a week ago. Now I have noticed that my urine has become very dark though I am taking plenty of fluids. Is there anything to worry about?
Urine discoloration could be because of Revulant 1000mg Tablet. You need not worry if you do not have any other symptoms. However, if it still bothers you, you can talk to your doctor who will advise you further.
Q. In case I accidentally take an excess of Revulant 1000mg Tablet, what will happen?

If you are taking metformin along with Revulant 1000mg Tablet, you have to be careful since Revulant 1000mg Tablet may increase the levels of metformin in the body which can lead to metformin toxicity. Talk to your doctor who will modify the dose of metformin.
Q. I have been taking simvastatin to keep my cholesterol levels in check. Can I take Revulant 1000mg Tablet with it?
It is recommended not to take simvastatin and Revulant 1000mg Tablet together because it may cause simvastatin toxicity which may lead to symptoms like muscle weakness and soreness, fatigue, decreased urination, etc. Let your doctor know that you are already taking simvastatin. If it is still necessary to take, then take it exactly as advised by the doctor.
