How repage tablet works

Repage 1 Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas which prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

Hypoglycemia (low blood glucose level), Abdominal pain, Nausea, Diarrhea, Back pain, Joint pain, Upper respiratory tract infection, Headache, Sinus inflammation

  • For best results, take Repaglinide 15 to 30 minutes before a meal.
  • You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines along with Repaglinide

Repage 1 Tablet starts working 30 minutes after it has been taken. After you take Repage 1 Tablet, the insulin levels increase causing a decrease in the blood sugar levels. The effect usually lasts for 4 hours.
Q. Can I take alcohol while I am taking Repage 1 Tablet?
No, you should avoid alcohol while taking Repage 1 Tablet since alcohol interferes with the working of Repage 1 Tablet. You may experience signs and symptoms of low blood sugar levels which include weakness, shakiness, cold sweat, cool pale skin, rapid heartbeat, tremors, extreme hunger, dizziness, headache, and anxiety.

No, you should not breastfeed your baby because if Repage 1 Tablet passes in breast milk, your baby may experience low blood sugar levels which is harmful to your baby. Ask your doctor for advice.
Q. Do I need to stop clopidogrel if I am taking Repage 1 Tablet?
You should inform your doctor and take his advice. If you cannot avoid using clopidogrel with Repage 1 Tablet, take 0.5 mg Repage 1 Tablet before each meal. The total daily dose should not be more than 4 mg. Monitor your blood sugar levels more frequently.
