Q. How long does Nodon Tablet take to start working?
After 1 to 2 weeks of starting Nodon Tablet your blood pressure may decrease. However, it may take 4 weeks to see full benefits.
Q. Now that my blood pressure has become normal, can I stop taking Nodon Tablet?
No, you should not stop taking Nodon Tablet even if you start feeling better. Nodon Tablet controls high blood pressure but does not cure it. If you stop Nodon Tablet suddenly, you may increase your chances of having angina, heart attack, or irregular heart-beat. Talk to your doctor who may advise you to decrease the dose gradually over 1 to 2 weeks.
Q. What can happen if I take more than the recommended doses of Nodon Tablet?
Taking more than the recommended doses of Nodon Tablet may cause very slow heart-beat, low blood pressure with possible fainting, difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath, and acute heart failure. In case you take excess of Nodon Tablet, contact your doctor immediately.

Q. Can Nodon Tablet be taken if I am taking ibuprofen?
You have to be careful while taking both ibuprofen and Nodon Tablet and keep monitoring your blood pressure on a regular basis. The reason being, ibuprofen may interfere with the working of Nodon Tablet and your blood pressure may increase. Similarly, discontinuing ibuprofen may decrease your blood pressure. This is usually seen in cases where ibuprofen is used for a longer time.
Q. I am a diabetic. Can taking Nodon Tablet affect my blood sugar levels?
No, Nodon Tablet does not have any effect on blood sugar levels. However, keep tracking your blood sugar levels because use of Nodon Tablet may mask the symptoms of low blood sugar levels, like fast heartbeat and palpitations.
Q. Can Nodon Tablet be given to old age patients?
Yes, Nodon Tablet can be given to patients who are 65 or above, but strictly as per the doctor’s advice. In this patient group, the doctor would recommend to start with the lowest dose and gradually reach the desired dosage. In patients who are 75 years or older, close monitoring of blood pressure is required.
Q. Does Nodon Tablet cause weight gain?
No, Nodon Tablet has not been reported to cause weight gain. Talk to your doctor if you experience weight gain while taking Nodon Tablet as it could be due to some other underlying condition.

Yes, Nodon Tablet crosses the blood-brain barrier due to its lipophilic nature. Its lipophilic nature makes it capable of combining with lipids and fats. So, it is effective in the treatment of migraine and essential tremors. This could also cause higher chances of central nervous system effects such as lethargy, confusion, and depression.
Q. What is the risk associated with Nodon Tablet if I take it during pregnancy?
Nodon Tablet should not be used during pregnancy since it decreases blood supply to the unborn baby which can result in death of the child in the womb. Decreased blood supply can slow down or retard the growth of the baby and may even lead to abortion or early labor. Inform your doctor that you are using Nodon Tablet if you have become pregnant, so that the doctor can change your medication.

Nodon Tablet may cause fatigue (tiredness) and dizziness. Be very cautious while driving or using any machines or tools. Talk to your doctor if you have these problems while taking Nodon Tablet.
