Nexrel Injection is an anti-fibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods, or after surgery.

No, Nexrel Injection should not be administered by injection into the muscles. It should be given strictly through slow injection into the veins to prevent side effects.

Although many research studies have shown that the increased risk of clot can be due to some other additional factors rather than Nexrel Injection itself.
