Minipress XL 2.5mg Tablet is an alpha blocker. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body. In benign prostate hyperplasia it relaxes the muscles in the prostate gland and make it easier to pass urine and reduce the need to urinate urgently or frequently.
