Mannitol 20% Infusion is an inert substance with high osmotic pressure. It draws water into the kidney, which in turn increases the amount of urine production. Mannitol 20% Infusion is also used to lower the pressure inside the eye or swelling around the brain.

Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Dehydration, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness)
