How liofen injection works

Liofen 500 Injection is a muscle relaxant. It works on the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm maintaining the strength of the muscles. This relieves pain and improves movement of muscles.

However, if it is given as a continuous infusion then it takes about 6-8 hours to show its effect which reaches its peak within 24 to 48 hours.
