Hicipro M 500mg/300mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Avoid Hicipro M 500mg/300mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
CAUTION
Consuming alcohol while taking Hicipro M 500mg/300mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Ciprofloxacin(500mg)

Uses

Ciprofloxacin is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia).

How it works

Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Yes, Metronidazole may cause a temporary metallic taste. This metallic taste can be reduced by staying hydrated, brushing teeth after the meals and chewing sugar-free gum or mints.

If you have taken Metronidazole in excess (more than the recommended dose), immediately contact your doctor or report to the nearest hospital. Overdose of Metronidazole may cause loss of appetite, metallic taste, headache, dizziness, insomnia or drowsiness.
