Q. Can I take this medication in long term for osteoporosis?
Gemtide 750 Injection should not be taken for a course longer than 2 years. However, your doctor may prescribe Gemtide 750 Injection for more than 2 years if you remain at or have returned to having a high risk for fracture.
Q. How is Gemtide 750 Injection stored at home?
Always keep this medicine stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of about 2°C to 8°C. Be cautious; the temperature should not decrease further, as freezing may cause the medicine to get damaged and can lead to loss of activity. Therefore, avoid placing the Gemtide 750 Injection pens close to the ice compartment of the refrigerator. If properly stored, this medication can be used up to 28 days after the first injection. If the pen is not empty within 28 days, please discard it safely.
