DOCETERO 80 MG INJECTION is an anticancer medication. It works by interfering with the microtubule structures which help the cancer cells to divide and multiply. This slows the growth of cancer cells and eventually kills them.

To control such possibilities from occurring all patients are given corticosteroids (dexamethasone) for 3 days starting 1 day prior to DOCETERO 80 MG INJECTION administration. In case of prostate cancer (metastatic castration-resistant), the recommended regimen is oral dexamethasone given at 12 hours, 3 hours, and 1 hour before the DOCETERO 80 MG INJECTION infusion.
