- Hydrocortisone is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of eczema.
- It should be applied to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
- Don't use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.

Q. Can Atonide-H Cream be used on the face?
No, Atonide-H Cream should not be used on the face. In addition to this, Atonide-H Cream should not be used on the axillae (armpits), groin and if there is atrophy (wasting away of tissues) at the treatment site. In certain circumstances, it can be exceptionally considered to be used by the doctors. It should be used only after consultation with your physician and if possible, the application on the face should be limited to a maximum of 5 days.
Q. Can we use Atonide-H Cream in infections?
Atonide-H Cream is not an antimicrobial or antifungal agent. It is a steroid medication. It should not be used in infections as being a corticosteroid it suppresses the immune system and increases the risk of infections. Bacterial infections are prone to worsen if the infection is covered with a dressing after using Atonide-H Cream. In case the inflammatory lesions get infected or there is any spread of infection, consult your doctor immediately. The doctor will withdraw the use of Atonide-H Cream and provide appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
Q. How to use Atonide-H Cream?
Before using Atonide-H Cream, clean and dry the affected area. Gently and thoroughly massage it into the skin. Be careful not to get the medication in your eyes or mouth. If Atonide-H Cream gets in your eyes accidentally, wash with plenty of water and call your doctor if your eyes are irritated.
