- Take it with food, preferably at the same time each day.

- Your doctor may want you to have regular blood tests to monitor your liver and kidney function while you are having treatment with this medicine.
- Do not take Alectinib if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use reliable methods of contraception to prevent pregnancy while taking this medicine.
- Inform your doctor if you develop breathing difficulties, stomach pain, yellowing of skin or eyes or muscle pain as Alectinib may affect your lungs, liver, muscles or kidneys.
