Trifarotene is applied on the skin to treat acne.
Avoid using Trifarotene on skin areas with cuts, abrasions, eczema, or on sunburned skin.
Apply a thin layer of Trifarotene over the affected areas one time each day, in the evening or as recommended by your doctor.
Minimize exposure to sunlight.
Avoid the use of “waxing” as a hair removal method on skin treated with Trifarotene.
Breastfeeding women should not apply Trifarotene to the nipple and areola to avoid contact with your baby.
