How aklief cream works

Aklief Cream works by specifically targeting the retinoic acid receptor gamma (RAR-γ) receptor present in the skin, to reduce inflammation and target other important factors that cause acne. The exact process by which Aklief Cream mitigates acne is unknown.

  • Trifarotene is applied on the skin to treat acne.
  • Avoid using Trifarotene on skin areas with cuts, abrasions, eczema, or on sunburned skin.
  • Apply a thin layer of Trifarotene over the affected areas one time each day, in the evening or as recommended by your doctor.
  • Minimize exposure to sunlight.
  • Avoid the use of “waxing” as a hair removal method on skin treated with Trifarotene.
  • Breastfeeding women should not apply Trifarotene to the nipple and areola to avoid contact with your baby.
